Job summary

O.R. Colan Associates, LLC is seeking a Utilities Right of Way Agent in Ohio. The role is remote within Ohio, with possible Columbus office interactions, and travel about 50% across the state.

You will acquire ROW rights for transmission projects, support project teams, and prepare documents while maintaining compliance and timely deliverables. A Notary in Ohio and MS Office proficiency are required.

Qualifications

• Active Ohio Notary or able to obtain within 60 days of hire
• Proficient with MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
• Smartphone required to access ORC systems
• Valid driver's license

Responsibilities

• Acquire right-of-way rights for distribution and electrical transmission projects per guidelines and regulations
• Support the Project Manager and project team members
• Prepare real estate documents
• Conduct property research for ownership and boundary information
• Communicate with landowners and representatives regarding right of way acquisition
• Perform general administrative tasks to keep projects moving
