Job summary

Parallax Studios is seeking an experienced Rhino 3D Modeling Supervisor to lead a large-scale architectural and environmental visualization project. You will manage 13-15 artists, oversee asset tracking, and maintain file consistency across a multi-artist pipeline.

The role emphasizes organization, proactive problem-solving, and effective communication with production and creative leadership in a remote, freelance context with potential for ongoing collaboration.

Qualifications

• Proven experience supervising or coordinating 3D modeling teams.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Experience managing complex file ecosystems and multi-artist workflows.
• Comfortable working in fast-paced production environments.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day modeling production across 13-15 artists.
• Track asset progress, priorities, approvals, and deliveries.
• Maintain clean file structures, naming conventions, and version control.
• Coordinate handoffs between modeling, layout, rendering, and downstream teams.
• Ensure consistency and quality across all 3D assets.
• Identify production bottlenecks and solve workflow issues.
• Communicate status and needs to production and creative leadership.
• Support onboarding and guidance for artists.
