Foodsmart is seeking a Revenue Cycle Specialist to join our Remote-first team. You will process and submit claims, investigate denials, and follow up to secure timely reimbursements, while supporting reporting and cross-team collaboration.

The role emphasizes problem-solving, data-driven insights, and improving the patient billing experience. The ideal candidate has 1–3 years in medical billing, comfort with Google Suite and Excel, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in medical billing, claims submission, or denials management.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with an analytical streak.
• Comfort with Google Suite and Excel for data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Process and submit claims to health plans accurately and on time.
• Research denied and rejected claims and resubmit after root-cause analysis.
• Follow up on claim status and resolve payment issues with health plans.
• Support reporting and month-end close with clean documentation.
• Collaborate with finance, product, and engineering to improve processes.
