AbsoluteCARE Medical Center & Pharmacy is seeking a diligent Patient Account Manager to oversee billing operations, payment posting, and AR management across the organization. You will minimize bad debt, improve cash flow, and coordinate revenue cycle activities from front desk to collections.

You will lead a team of Billing Specialists, guide claims follow-up, ensure accurate payer data, and maintain billing manuals.

Qualificações

• High School diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred in business administration, Health Care Administration or related field.
• Five years’ FQHC Billing experience required.
• Three years’ management experience in a healthcare setting.
• eClinicalWorks experience preferred.
• Must function with minimal direct supervision.
• Proficiency with computers and Excel to perform duties effectively.
• Strong financial management knowledge and experience.
• Excellent oral, written, and presentation skills.

Responsabilidades

• Ensure payer information accuracy in the billing system.
• Guide billers on claims processing and denial follow-up.
• Monitor staff productivity and audit work.
• Document deficiencies for training opportunities.
• Report system setup errors affecting billing to Director.
• Prioritize and problem solve for billing staff.
• Ensure timely processing and correction of rejected claims.
• Keep staff updated on third-party contracts and terms.
• Establish regular claims follow-up processes.
• Maintain Billing Manual with payer information.
• Prepare reports analyzing trends for Director and stakeholders.
• Raise billing concerns at payer meetings.
• Ensure accurate and timely payment posting.
• Provide monthly credit balance status reports.
• Track employee time and complete annual reviews.
• Comply with Medicaid, Medicare and other health programs regulations.
• Perform any other duties as assigned.
