Job summary

Pacific Health Group is seeking a Revenue Cycle Manager to lead and optimize our revenue cycle operations across billing, coding, denials, collections, and analytics. The role requires strong leadership, healthcare billing knowledge, and collaboration with multi-disciplinary teams.

The position is remote with California-based work arrangements and standard M-F hours. Responsibilities include ensuring compliant, timely submissions, managing accounts receivable, and driving continuous improvement

Qualifications

• Minimum of five (5) years of progressive experience in healthcare revenue cycle management.
• Supervisory or management experience within Revenue Cycle operations.
• Experience managing billing, claims, accounts receivable, collections, denials, appeals, and reimbursement processes.
• Strong knowledge of ICD-10, CPT, HCPCS, modifiers, and healthcare billing practices.
• Understanding of managed care reimbursement, payer requirements, claims adjudication, and payer contract administration.
• Knowledge of HIPAA and protection of PHI in billing workflows.
• Proficiency with healthcare billing platforms, EHR systems, reporting tools, and Excel.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and stakeholder collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Lead Revenue Cycle operations across PHG programs including ECM, CS, CHW and Behavioral Health.
• Oversee billing, coding, submissions, posting, AR, collections, denials, appeals, and reimbursement activities.
• Ensure adherence to payer deadlines, accuracy, and compliance with contracts and regulations.
• Monitor A/R aging, 90/120-day balances, and cash-flow impact; implement corrective actions.
• Develop process improvements and SOPs; lead cross-department collaboration for revenue integrity.
• Provide leadership, coaching, and performance management to Revenue Cycle staff.
