UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas is seeking a Manager, Revenue Cycle Analytics to partner with directors and leaders to drive revenue opportunities and improve data‑driven decisions. This role will lead three direct reports and manage multiple BI workspaces to turn data into actionable insights.

Qualifications

• 5 years of healthcare financial management experience with revenue cycle operations.
• Progressive supervisory/management experience with extensive knowledge of Patient Financial systems and processes.
• In depth knowledge of healthcare revenue cycle, payer contracts and applicable rules and regulations affecting reimbursement for healthcare services.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate continuous performance improvement in targeted areas of responsibility in alignment with the overall annual Hospital performance improvement targets.
• Meets or exceeds financial goals and objectives of the department.
• Maintains an assortment of daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual reports used to monitor Revenue Cycle performance.
• Supports review and analysis of daily/weekly/monthly reporting revenue cycle reporting reports to identify positive and negative trends affecting revenue cycle outcomes and operations.
• Assists in creating and monitoring models that link strategies to measures of performance (financial and non-financial).
• Oversee development and analysis of denial management reports to identify operational areas for improvement. Evaluates denied claim trends. Alerts management of changes in the number and type of denied claims received.
• Develops new reports to assist in Revenue Cycle strategic decisions and improve efficiency.
• Works with the contracting group and IR to QA build
