• HS or GED or bachelor’s in business-related field preferred, or equivalent work experience.
• 2+ years’ experience in Revenue Cycle Management preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Able to multi-task and meet tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Submit medical documentation/billing data to insurance providers.
• Research and appeal denied and rejected claims.
• Prepare, review, and transmit claims using billing software including electronic and paper claim processing.
• Follow up on unpaid claims within standard billing cycle time frame.
• Call insurance companies regarding any discrepancy in payment if necessary.
• Review insurance payments for accuracy and completeness.
