Cardinal Health is seeking an Analyst Team Lead for the AR Payer Pod to act as SME on billing, claims resolution, and payer requirements. This full-time role mentors AR Representatives, handles escalations, and supports process improvements to maximize reimbursement and minimize revenue loss.

The position requires deep knowledge of accounts receivable in healthcare, strong leadership, and ability to adapt to evolving payer rules. Remote-friendly with weekday hours to align with business needs.

Qualifications

• 3 years’ experience with insurance billing and processing claims preferred.
• 3 years’ experience with Medicare claims and Medicare/private insurance verification preferred.
• Knowledge of insurance portals; familiarity with medical/insurance terms.
• Proficiency in basic math and business calculations.
• Working knowledge of computer/data entry and ability to learn new systems.

Responsibilities

• Acts as SME for Accounts Receivable processes, billing regulations, payer requirements, and claims resolution.
• Leads day-to-day guidance to AR Representatives to ensure quality and productivity.
• Escalates complex billing, claims, payer, and account issues requiring advanced knowledge.
• Monitors performance, identifies workflow improvements, and supports departmental initiatives.
• Coordinates coaching, training, and adherence to policies and best practices.
