Job summary

Equitable is seeking a Retirement Solutions Specialist (RSS) to join our Group Retirement team in a remote role covering the Western territory. The RSS will engage existing clients to strengthen retirement readiness, drive contribution activity, and identify asset consolidation opportunities, acting as an extension of the advisor’s practice.

You will work with advisors, educate clients on retirement concepts, and leverage data-driven insights to improve engagement and retention.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or relevant professional work experience.
• FINRA Series 6 and 63, active upon hire.
• Life, Health, and Variable licenses, active or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire.
• 2+ years professional experience in a sales support or client-facing role within financial services.

Responsibilities

• Proactive Client Outreach: Engage clients through outbound phone calls, email, and other approved channels to discuss retirement savings and contributions.
• Client Engagement & Re-Engagement: Connect with clients to understand circumstances and help restart contributions.
• Contribution Enhancement: Identify opportunities to increase retirement plan contributions and educate clients on options.
• Concierge Advisor Support: Provide dedicated support to RBG advisors and clients as an extension of the advisor’s practice.
• Advisor Collaboration: Partner with RBG advisors to identify opportunities within books of business.
