Job summary

Foundation Risk Partners is seeking a Client Relationship Manager-Retirement Services to join Advus and provide relationship management for 401(k) and other retirement services. This role focuses on ERISA compliance and plan design guidance for Retirement Plan Advisors and plan sponsors.

The position is remote and requires residence in the EST timezone; responsibilities include preparing client meetings, data gathering, reports, and coordination with operations, legal, and investment management

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• 2–5 years of experience working with retirement plans, particularly 401(k).
• Experience supporting advisors in retirement plan or financial services.
• Proficiency with CRM systems (Salesforce preferred) and Microsoft Office.
• ASPPA, CEBS, QKA or related designations are a plus.

Responsibilities

• ERISA Compliance and Guidance: Serve as ERISA and 401(k) expert, guiding Retirement Plan Advisors on regulatory standards.
• Advisor Support and Collaboration: Assist advisors in preparing for client meetings, data gathering, reports, and customized proposals.
• Client Service and Administrative Support: Onboard new retirement plan clients, respond to inquiries, maintain Salesforce records, and prepare client-facing materials.
• Regulatory & Documentation: Assist in preparing plan documents, amendments, and regulatory filings for ERISA compliance.
• Cross-functional coordination: Facilitate communication between field advisors and internal departments.
