Empower in Georgia seeks a Senior Workplace Planning Consultant to deliver retirement and financial wellness guidance within employer-sponsored plans. You will guide participants through managed accounts, educate on options, and build relationships through proactive engagements.

The role requires a self-starter with strong organizational skills, a competitive drive, and comfort in a fast-paced environment. Inbound and outbound calls are part of the responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and professional work experience.
• 2+ years of experience in financial services, retirement planning, or advisory environments.
• Demonstrated success in sales.
• Good understanding of IRAs, retirement investment products/services and the qualified retirement plan environment.
• Experience managing multiple priorities and ability to handle stressful situations and people daily.
• Proficient in Windows and MS Office; ability to learn Empower's record keeping system and Salesforce.
• FINRA 7 & 66 (or 63 & 65) registrations required; fingerprinting upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Cultivate relationships with customers by delivering personalized service and respond to plan questions with listening, empathy, proactivity and perseverance.
• Relay accurate information and provide clear communication of policies and procedures.
• Retain assets through education and guidance of plan-specific and general distribution options.
• Educate customers on distribution decisions and tax implications of retirement proceeds.
• Deliver optimal solutions to customers in every interaction.
• Engage with peers to problem solve and deliver results.
• Use innovative tools and services to find the best retirement-planning options.
• Meet monthly and annual sales and service goals.
