DEPT® is seeking an Associate Director, Retail Search to lead strategic paid search initiatives for an enterprise retail account, focusing on Amazon, Walmart, Best Buy & Target. You will develop and execute paid search strategies across retail media networks and mentor a team.

This remote-first role requires candidates in US time zones (Central/Mountain/Pacific) and involves reporting, insights, and collaboration with analytics, creative, and account management to drive ROI and growth.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in paid search advertising, with retail media focus.
• Minimum 3 years in client-facing roles.
• Proven track record managing paid search campaigns for enterprise accounts.
• Deep understanding of retail media networks and platforms (Amazon Advertising, Walmart Connect, Best Buy Ads, Target Roundel).
• Proficiency with paid search tools including Google Ads and Bing Ads, and analytics tools.
• Strong analytical skills to derive actionable insights from data.
• Experience leading teams with mentorship focus.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to drive collaboration across analytics, creative, and account management.
• Remote-first with timezone requirement in Central/Mountain/Pacific.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategic paid search campaigns across retail media networks to drive performance and growth for an enterprise retail account.
• Lead and manage a team of paid search specialists, providing guidance, mentorship, and professional development opportunities to enhance team performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including analytics, creative, and account management, to ensure cohesive media plans that align with client objectives.
• Analyze campaign performance data to provide actionable insights and recommendations for optimization, ensuring maximum ROI and alignment with client goals.
• Oversee the day-to-day execution of paid search campaigns, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budget and quality standards.
• Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in paid search and retail media networks to maintain a competitive edge and drive innovation.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, acting as a trusted advisor and ensuring satisfaction with media strategies and outcomes.
• Develop and present performance reports and strategic recommendations to clients and internal stakeholders, highlighting key insights and opportunities for growth.
• Foster a collaborative and high-performing team environment, encouraging open communication and knowledge sharing to drive continuous improvement.
