Job summary

DEPT® is seeking an Account Lead, Retail Search to guide strategic paid search initiatives for an enterprise retail account across networks like Amazon, Walmart, Best Buy and Target. You will lead a team, collaborate with analytics, creative and account management, and deliver insights, reporting and optimized media plans within budget.

You will drive performance, mentor staff, maintain strong client relationships, and stay ahead of industry trends to ensure growth aligned with client objectives.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of paid search advertising experience, with a focus on retail media networks.
• 3+ years in client-facing roles.
• Proven track record managing paid search campaigns for enterprise accounts.
• Deep understanding of retail media networks and platforms (Amazon Advertising, Walmart Connect, Best Buy Ads, Target Roundel).
• Proficiency with Google Ads, Bing Ads, and analytics platforms.
• Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret data.
• Experience leading and mentoring a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to develop and implement strategic paid search plans aligning with client objectives.
• Remote-first company but timezone requirement: Central, Mountain or Pacific.

• Stay current with trends and best practices in paid search and retail media.
• Build strong client relationships and act as trusted advisor on media strategies.
• Present performance insights and strategic recommendations to clients and internal stakeholders.
• Foster a collaborative, high-performing team environment with open communication.
