Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in sales leadership positions.
• Manage 8 or more direct reports.
• 4+ years’ experience in direct mortgage lending.
• Understanding of industry standards, compliance regulations, underwriting guidelines.
• 2+ years’ experience with sales technology.

Responsibilities

• Directly oversee and manage the retail active pipeline from loan submission to processing through loan funding.
• Produce daily pipeline reporting from the retail branch level up through Senior Management.
• Collaborate with Retail Underwriting and Closing Managers to ensure timely closings and customer satisfaction.
• Manage timelines and loan cycle times to avoid stagnation beyond timelines.
• Handle escalations including third party vendors for underwriting and appraisals; manage rush requests.
• Escalate issues to the Vice President of Retail Lending on price concessions and policy exceptions.
