Job summary

Perry Ellis International is seeking a Remote Retail Coordinator for Baltimore to manage merchandising plans and ensure fresh flow of merchandise from backroom to sales floor. You will execute merchandising standards, partner with Visual Managers, and help optimize shop presentation across PEI brands.

The role requires 1–2 years in retail merchandising/coordination, strong math skills, and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of retail/merchandise coordination or visual merchandising experience.
• Good understanding of retail math.
• Ability to read and analyze business reports and purchase orders.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Must have home Internet access and smartphone.

Responsibilities

• Merchandise PEI departments using current merchandising and visual directives.
• Partner with Visual Managers.
• Ensure that all PEI areas have the appropriate graphics.
• Review new merchandising strategies and ideas and make recommendations for shop enhancements.
• Ensure markdowns are taken on schedule, signed and easy to shop.
• Maintain consistent dialogue with management regarding store recaps, floor maps, and pictures.
• Partner with Retailers to discuss open issues from store visits and opportunities.
• Communicate with sales teams on stock issues and opportunities.
• Develop business-driving strategies through sales contests and merchandising.
