Job summary

Perry Ellis International is seeking a Retail Coordinator to establish and execute merchandising plans, ensuring a fresh flow of merchandise from backroom to sales floor and maintenance of all merchandising standards.

You will collaborate with Visual Managers, review strategies, and help drive sales through smart shelf layouts, timely markdowns, and effective communication with store partners. This role requires travel to stores and strong organizational skills.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and analyze business reports and purchase orders.
• Ability to multi-task and possess strong organization skills.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently and task manage appropriately.
• Must have home Internet access and smartphone.
• Must have own transportation to travel to stores.

Responsibilities

• Merchandise PEI departments using current merchandising and visual directives.
• Partner with Visual Managers.
• Review new merchandising strategies and ideas and make recommendations for shop enhancements.
• Ensure markdowns are taken on schedule, signed and easy to shop.
• Maintain consistent dialogue with management regarding store recaps, floor maps, and pictures.
• Partner with Retailers to discuss open issues from store visits, productivity of staff, business opportunities, etc.
