Job summary

AG1 is seeking a Manager, Retail Finance to partner with our Retail Team and drive the retail strategy and budgeted targets across grocery, mass, club, and other retailers. This role emphasizes COGS improvement, trade spend visibility, and order-to-cash processes in a high-impact environment.

Reporting to the Director, Retail Finance, you will be a finance business partner with strong analytical and partnership skills, shaping retail financial performance in the US market.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
• 4-7+ years of experience with a CPG/consumer products brand supporting Sales Teams and major retailers.
• Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills; ability to translate data into actionable business plans.
• Detail-oriented with focus on operational excellence in retail initiatives.
• Passion for health, wellness, and nutrition; understanding of evolving consumer landscape.
• Ability to thrive in fast-paced, remote, entrepreneurial environment and collaborate cross-functionally.

Responsibilities

• Support the execution of the strategic sales plan and budget to expand AG1 footprint within retail partners across the US.
• Create dashboarding to track KPI financial performance and enhance visibility.
• Financial analysis on new business opportunities and assess competitive dynamics.
• Post-event analysis of retail marketing programs ensuring brand consistency and alignment with AG1 objectives.
• Enable Sales to execute product launches, seasonal promotions, and merchandising strategies.
• Understand innovation pipeline and partner with NPD for Retail.
• Ensure timely invoicing and collection of cash; AR liaison with Accounting & Corporate Finance.
• Monitor customer fines/fees/deductions/allowances; develop strategies to minimize impact.
• Monitor Customer PO’s for adherence to agreed terms.
• Assist in Customer product assortment and NPD (innovation) financial analysis.
• Collaborate in the S&OP process to improve forecasting and demand visibility.
• Leverage sales data, market trends, and consumer insights to influence retail strategy and financial performance.
• Provide regular performance updates to senior leadership with actionable recommendations.
