Job summary

Georgetown University Center on Education and the Workforce (CEW) seeks an Assistant/Associate Research Professor to design and execute applied research on education, labor markets, and economic mobility. The position requires advanced quantitative training to lead projects from concept to dissemination, and to communicate findings clearly to diverse audiences.

This is a fully remote, non-tenure-track role with a salary range of $120,000–$140,000.

Qualifications

• PhD in economics, public policy, sociology, education policy, or related quantitative field; OR a Master’s degree with substantial applied research experience.
• Expert quantitative research and econometric skills.
• Experience working with large-scale education and workforce datasets and cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute applied research projects on education, labor markets, and economic mobility.
• Lead projects from conceptualization through dissemination.
• Manage cross-disciplinary project teams and develop empirical research strategies.
• Communicate findings clearly to diverse audiences and stakeholders.
