Job summary

Harvard University’s John F. Kennedy School invites applications for a Research Scientist in the Project on Workforce based at the Mossavar-Rahmani Center. The role leads a multi-year study on education, labor markets, and economic mobility with nationwide partners.

You will design, implement, and refine the longitudinal research agenda, supervise staff, manage data across sites, and disseminate results through reports, policy briefs, and presentations to practitioners, policymakers, and funders.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. in education, economics, public policy, or related field.
• 3+ years of research experience including design and implementation.
• Experience leading mixed-methods studies and supervising staff.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and refinement of a multi-year longitudinal study across 10+ CTE healthcare sites.
• Develop study methodologies, analytic frameworks, and data collection protocols.
• Direct quantitative and qualitative data collection, management, analysis, and interpretation.
• Design and oversee research infrastructure, including data systems and dashboards.
• Mentor research staff and manage external collaborators and vendors.
• Lead dissemination of findings via reports, publications, and conferences.
