Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience in proposal development and budgets for sponsored projects is preferred.
• Familiarity with IRB/IACUC, conflicts of interest, and biosafety requirements is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Review and facilitate proposal submissions to ensure compliance with institutional, sponsor, and state guidelines.
• Coordinate with PIs and departmental staff on budgets, scopes of work, and research strategy.
• Ensure timely submission and award administration through sponsor electronic systems.
• Provide support for post-award activities and contract negotiations as needed.
• Communicate guidance and updates to investigators to maintain compliance and efficient processes.
