Job summary

UofL Health is seeking a Research Finance Analyst to support the departmental review process, determine operational impact, and ensure all costs are identified early in the facility review. The role coordinates monthly accounting and reporting of research services and related AR, including patient accounting per protocol requirements.

Essential functions include pricing, coverage analyses, and contract/budget review to ensure compliant billing plans.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business is required.
• 3-5 years in healthcare finance/revenue cycle operations required.
• 3+ years in clinical research preferred.
• MBA, CCRP, CHRC, CPC are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Review clinical research protocols for financial/operational impact and determine feasibility.
• Prepare and review budgets, pricing, and cost coverage for research items/services.
• Ensure billing compliance and manage AR for research services and related accounts.
• Coordinate CMS/CGS approvals for device trials and maintain investigational processes.
• Maintain compliance with policies and standards; support special projects as needed.
