Job summary

YO AI Labs is seeking experienced Research Engineers to contribute to code generation, software engineering, and AI model evaluation. You will work remotely on real-world coding tasks to train and improve next-generation AI systems, with no prior AI experience required.

You will analyze, debug, implement features, and optimize multiple codebases using languages such as Python, Java, Rust, or C++. Strong problem-solving and independent work in a remote setup are essential.

Qualifications

• Strong fundamentals in algorithms and data structures.
• Experience with at least one of Python 3, Java, Rust, C++, Go, or TypeScript.
• Experience debugging, implementing features, refactoring and performance tuning.
• Contributions to open-source or collaborative software projects.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, debug, and resolve issues across codebases.
• Implement new features for code generation workflows.
• Refactor and optimize code for performance and scalability.
• Develop and review coding tasks to evaluate AI-generated code.
• Provide feedback and annotations to support model training.
