Job summary

YO AI Labs is seeking experienced Research Engineers to contribute to a project centered on code generation, software engineering, and AI model evaluation. You will apply programming expertise to develop, review, and evaluate real-world coding tasks that help train and improve next-generation AI systems.

No prior AI experience is required. Responsibilities include analyzing codebases, implementing features, reviewing tasks for evaluation accuracy, and documenting decisions to support model

Qualifications

• Strong background in competitive programming, algorithms, and data structures.
• Proficiency in at least one language: Python 3, Java, Rust, C++, Go, or TypeScript.
• Experience debugging, implementing features, refactoring, and optimizing performance.
• Open-source contributions or collaborative software project experience.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• High attention to detail in code validation and output consistency.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, debug, and resolve issues across codebases using Python 3, Java, Rust, C++, Go, or TypeScript.
• Implement new features and enhancements for code generation workflows.
• Refactor and optimize code for performance, scalability, and maintainability.
• Develop and review coding tasks to evaluate AI-generated code.
• Provide clear feedback and annotations to support model training and evaluation.
