Job summary

The State of California's Department of Insurance seeks a Data Analytics & Reporting Project Manager (Research Data Specialist I) to lead planning and execution of large-scale insurance data studies. You will act as the senior analyst on major research projects within the DAR Division and collaborate with stakeholders to deliver robust data insights.

The role offers hybrid telework, permanent full-time status, and a salary range of $6,955.00 – $8,706.00 per month, with CalHR guidance on pay

Qualifications

• Experience with data analytics and research methods applied to large datasets.
• Ability to plan and execute large-scale research and data projects.
• Experience identifying data quality issues and coordinating stakeholder input.

Responsibilities

• Independently plan, organize, and conduct complex studies for mandated research projects.
• Serve as senior analyst on insurance-related research and data projects.
