Job summary

University of Minnesota in Minnesota, MN is seeking a Researcher I to assist with tobacco use disorder research led by a Principal Investigator. You will coordinate protocol development through close-out, support recruitment, enrollment, consent, and assessments, while maintaining regulatory binders and study metrics.

Ideal candidates have a BA/BS or equivalent experience, strong attention to detail, and Spanish language proficiency.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree or equivalent work experience (4+ years)
• Detail oriented with strong critical thinking and problem-solving
• Able to work independently and in a team
• Strong written, verbal, interpersonal communication
• Fluent in Spanish

Responsibilities

• Implements the study protocol: start-up activities, CRF development, data entry, regulator documentation
• Assist sites with study recruitment and enrollment procedures
• Administer informed consent and study assessments by phone
• Mail study materials and issue participant payments
• Provide administrative support: scheduling, meetings, minutes, regulatory binder maintenance
• Prepare academic products: literature searches, PowerPoint, references, tables/figures
• Participate in quality control monitoring and track study metrics
