Job summary

CPS, Inc. is seeking an experienced Relius Plan Administrator to manage day-to-day retirement plan administration for clients in a fully remote setup. The role focuses on ensuring compliance with plan provisions and regulatory requirements while delivering high-quality service to clients.

The ideal candidate has TPA experience and hands-on use of Relius software to perform testing, reporting, and Form 5500 filings for 401(k) and other qualified plans.

Qualifications

• Experience working for a Third-Party Administrator (TPA).
• Hands-on experience with Relius retirement plan administration software.
• Experience administering qualified retirement plans, especially 401(k).
• Knowledge of IRS and Department of Labor regulations and retirement plan compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain qualified retirement plans, including 401(k) and profit-sharing plans.
• Utilize Relius software to perform plan administration, compliance testing, and annual reporting.
• Prepare and review annual compliance testing, including ADP/ACP, top-heavy, and coverage testing.
• Complete annual Form 5500 filings and related compliance documentation.
• Perform participant allocations, contribution calculations, and other plan-related calculations.
• Review plan documents and ensure plan operations align with plan provisions and IRS regulations.
• Communicate with clients, financial advisors, and internal teams regarding plan administration and compliance matters.
• Research and resolve plan discrepancies and respond to client inquiries.
• Maintain accurate plan records and meet regulatory and client deadlines.
