Bright Vision Technologies is seeking an Observability-focused Reliability Monitoring Engineer to design and operate the metrics, logging, tracing, and alerting platforms that empower engineering teams. This role spans the full observability stack, from collection agents to long-term storage and dashboards, emphasizing signal quality and ROI.

The ideal candidate has 6+ years in SRE/observability, deep Prometheus/Grafana experience, and proficiency in Go/Python/Java.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 6+ years in SRE, platform engineering, or observability roles.
• Hands-on experience with Prometheus, Grafana, and at least one commercial platform (Datadog/New Relic/Splunk).
• Strong OpenTelemetry, distributed tracing, and logging understanding.
• Proficiency in Go, Python, or Java.
• Experience operating high-cardinality, high-throughput metrics and log pipelines.
• Knowledge of SRE concepts like error budgets and SLIs.
• CI/CD and incident tooling familiarity.
• Linux, networking, and container platforms knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Design and operate the observability stack across metrics, logs, tracing, and alerting.
• Improve signal quality and operational ROI of observability platforms.
• Translate telemetry into actionable insights for engineers and business stakeholders.
