Job summary

Louisiana-Pacific Corporation seeks a Corporate Reliability & Maintenance Specialist to lead maintenance strategies across OSB, Siding, and energy systems, reducing downtime and increasing efficiency. The role requires coordinating with plant operations, engineering, and external resources to implement best practices and ensure asset reliability.

Qualifications

• 10+ years’ experience in Operations, Engineering or Plant Maintenance for OSB or related wood products.
• 5+ years’ experience in log handling, flaking, strand drying, and energy operations in OSB or related wood products.
• Experience with log handling and debarking equipment.
• Experience with wood strand/flake drying equipment and related dryers.
• Familiarity with operational control systems and HMI screens.

Responsibilities

• Develop, lead, direct, and drive maintenance strategies to reduce unplanned downtime and improve OEE.
• Collaborate with site operations to optimize green end and dry end processes.
• Provide technical support and training to operations and maintenance teams.
• Lead RCFA and FMEA activities to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
• Support capital projects, upgrades, and energy system optimizations across multiple sites.
