Job summary

American Bureau of Shipping (ABS) Group seeks a Senior Consultant I – Reliability to lead and support reliability-based maintenance engagements for clients, applying asset management and maintenance best practices to drive optimization. The role can be performed remotely, with regular travel to site.

You will develop MALs, BOMs, PMs, perform ASO initiatives, and mentor junior staff while coordinating with project managers to meet budget and schedule.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in related field.
• 6+ years of reliability consulting/asset management experience.
• Professional certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct asset walkdowns to create a Master Asset List (MAL) with equipment data.
• Develop, review, and maintain Bills of Materials (BOMs).
• Create PM tasks, job plans, and programs from scratch.
• Support and/or lead asset criticality ranking efforts.
• Review P&IDs, OEM manuals, and vendor documents.
• Participate in Asset Strategy Optimization (ASO) initiatives.
• Perform spare parts analyses (SPA).
• Provide technical expertise under PM supervision to meet schedule and budget.
• Develop relationships with customers for new business opportunities.
• Represent ABS Group and promote products/services.
• Travel 50%+ to client sites; remote work possible.
