Job summary

Zaelab is seeking a Release Manager to manage the software release process for key client engagements. In this role, you will establish and manage release schedules, coordinate dependencies, and communicate effectively with teams at all levels.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years of experience in release management, understands technical delivery, and can navigate complex client environments smoothly. The position offers fully remote work and a culture focused on empowerment.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in release management or a similar role.
• Hands-on experience managing production releases end to end.
• Strong understanding of the SDLC, CI/CD, and deployment environments.
• Experience coordinating with engineering, QA, and client stakeholders.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Own the release calendar and drive release readiness.
• Create cutover plans and coordinate dry runs.
• Ensure rollback readiness and manage stakeholder communications.
• Identify and manage risks related to releases.
• Track release performance and lead retrospectives.
