Job summary

Aon is seeking a Reinsurance Actuarial Senior Analyst and/or Associate Director to support client projects across locations including New York City, Chicago, Philadelphia, Bloomington, MN, or virtually for the right candidate.

In this role you will perform standard and advanced analyses, become familiar with Aon's tools and approaches, present solutions to clients, and assist in pricing parameter updates and market research.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in actuarial science or a related field.
• 3–5 CAS actuarial exams completed.
• 3+ years of actuarial experience and programming experience in R.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with brokers and analytics teams to identify client needs and opportunities.
• Inventory and manage client and industry data.
• Analyze costs and benefits of risk transferred under reinsurance using pricing analysis and dynamic risk modeling.
• Prepare client-ready presentations to communicate analysis results.
• Manage workflow proactively and independently.
• Produce high-quality analyses within agreed timeframes.
• Lead internal projects to improve processes, products or services.
• Coordinate with team members to ensure client needs are met without overlap.
