Job summary

Lifetime Benefit Solutions, Inc. is seeking a Reimbursement Claims Processing Manager to oversee the daily activities of the claims team handling FSA, HRA, HSA, transit/parking, student loans, tuition reimbursement, and wellness benefits.

The role requires strong supervisory experience, healthcare claims processing knowledge, and expertise in regulatory compliance. Responsibilities include workflow optimization, audits, system enhancements, and employee development.

Qualifications

• Five or more years of related work experience, three or more in healthcare or reimbursement claims processing operations.
• Prior experience supervising or managing people and/or projects or indirectly leading teams.
• Thorough ongoing knowledge and application of IRC Sections (e.g., 105, 125, and 129) regulations/ compliance that apply to benefit administration.
• Good organizational skills and ability to prioritize assignments.

Responsibilities

• Manages and oversees the daily activities of the claims processing team; includes hiring, onboarding, training, performance appraisals, and team development.
• Plans, coordinates, prioritizes, monitors, and reports on activities related to assigned personnel; evaluates workflow and inventory levels.
• Develops and monitors claims operations in terms of workflows, metrics, audits, policies and procedures for effectiveness, efficiency, and compliance.
• Reports backlogs or inventory concerns; identifies processing problems and implements solutions through process improvement.
• Leads system enhancements, release testing and process improvement projects; supports special projects assigned by management.
• Provides direct client/broker/member support as necessary; education and training, troubleshooting and problem resolution.
• Ensures policies comply with applicable laws and corporate policies; maintains privacy and ethics standards.
• Maintains knowledge of regulatory mandates to ensure compliance.
• Conducts staff meetings and distributes departmental information; attends to attendance.
