Excellus BCBS in Utica, NY is seeking a Reimbursement Claims Processing Manager to oversee the team handling claims across FSA, HRA, HSA, Transit and Parking, Student Loan, Tuition Reimbursement, and Wellness benefits.

You will lead daily operations, hire and develop staff, drive process improvements, ensure regulatory compliance, and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure timely, accurate payments and high member satisfaction.

Competenze

• Five or more years of related work experience.
• Three or more years in healthcare or reimbursement claims processing.
• Experience supervising or managing people or projects.
• Knowledge of IRC sections (105, 125, 129) regulations that apply to benefit administration.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize.
• Intermediate to advanced Excel skills; familiarity with Outlook and Word.

• Manage daily activities of the claims processing team and oversee onboarding, training, and appraisals.
• Plan, coordinate, and report on team activities to meet performance standards and regulatory requirements.
• Develop and monitor workflows, metrics, audits, and procedures for efficiency and compliance.
• Address backlogs and implement process improvements to boost productivity and member satisfaction.
• Lead system enhancements, testing, and project work as assigned by management.
• Provide client/broker/member support for audits, training, and issue resolution.
• Ensure adherence to policies and privacy requirements; maintain professional integrity.
