Job summary

HCSC is seeking a Regulatory Analyst to monitor and analyze national, state, and federal legislative and regulatory activities impacting the organization. You will prepare summaries, updates, and education for business and implementation teams, collaborating with attorneys and government relations to navigate complex regulatory requirements.

The role requires strong writing, analytical, and communication skills, with experience in regulatory processes and healthcare industry operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of experience in business or project management OR 9 years of experience in business or project management.
• 3 years of regulatory or legislative experience.
• Knowledge of legislative processes and methods, and experience providing information to senior staff regarding legal requirements arising from legislative and regulatory actions.
• Experience analyzing and drafting summaries of legislative and regulatory legal requirements.
• Knowledge of the regulatory process and Health Care Industry business processes, functions and drivers.
• Experience evaluating and re-engineering internal business processes, creating, reviewing, and managing business reporting, and strategic problem-solving.
• Knowledge of enterprise business operations.
• Creative thinking and writing skills, executive presentation, verbal communication, facilitation, decision-making, and interpersonal skills.
• Organizational skills and detail oriented.
• Experience working independently and responding to rapidly changing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and analyze national, state and federal legislative and regulatory activities applicable to HCSC and its subsidiaries.
• Prepare summaries and updates on legislative and regulation actions, educate and support business and implementation teams.
• Support multi-state regulatory research with legal and business teams.
