Job summary

Independence American Insurance Co is seeking an Associate Regulatory Compliance Specialist who will report to the Senior Manager, Compliance. The role supports the end-to-end regulatory change management process, including monitoring the regulatory landscape, analyzing laws, and communicating changes to applicable areas.

You will track implementation evidence of compliance and support investigations. This remote role is based in the USA, with responsibilities spanning knowledge management,

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or equivalent required.
• 1 year of internal audit, legal, compliance, insurance, gov7t programs, or relevant experience.
• Relevant experience in health, property & casualty, or healthcare compliance is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Facilitates review of laws and determines applicability for the organization.
• Distills law requirements for business owners to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Maintains a knowledge repository on regulations and regulatory changes.
• Coordinates with owners and vendors to train, educate, and mitigate compliance risks.
• Contributes to monitoring/auditing plans and may perform surveillance of operations.
