Job summary

Buckled In is seeking a Remote Compliance Manager for Pupil Transportation. This role leads high-volume multi-state compliance operations, translating regulatory requirements into scalable processes and ensuring consistent execution across our driver network.

Reports to Senior Director of Recruitment, Onboarding, and Compliance, with potential for direct reports. Ideal candidates are highly organized, process-driven, and capable of managing teams in a fast-paced, inclusive environment.

Qualifications

• 4+ years implementing city/state/federal regulations for driver compliance
• 2-4 years of people management experience
• 2+ years of remote work experience
• Experience in a high-volume organization (≥500 employees)
• Laptop with working camera and microphone
• Proficient in Google Suite (Gmail, Docs, Sheets, Slides)
• High school diploma or GED

Responsibilities

• Oversee high-volume compliance process and design control systems
• Monitor and improve efficiency of control systems
• Review driver procedures and reports for risks; provide training
• Lead periodic audits of systems and policies and file updates
• Update and maintain regulatory guide and staff training materials
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external regulators
• Manage and onboard new compliance team members
• Track and report team performance metrics
