Job summary

St. Luke’s University Health Network is seeking a Registered Nurse, Virtual Nursing to partner with bedside caregivers and provide technology-enabled clinical support across the inpatient setting.

The role uses virtual care platforms, Epic, and other tools to enhance patient education, care coordination, patient safety, and workflow efficiency while allowing bedside nurses to focus on direct patient care activities.

Qualifications

• RN license in PA and/or NJ with multistate license
• BSN preferred
• BLS certification required
• Experience with Epic and virtual care technologies preferred

Responsibilities

• Completes virtual nursing activities, including patient education, documentation, and care coordination.
• Assists with discharge planning, progression, and escalation of care concerns.
• Supports evidence-based care delivery and continuity of care.
• Conducts virtual patient interactions and engages patients and families.
• Reinforces discharge instructions and medication education.
• Maintains timely communication with care teams to ensure high-quality care.
• Protects patient confidentiality and follows safety policies.
• Utilizes Epic and other virtual care technologies to support clinical workflows.
