Qualifications

• Active and in-good-standing RDN/RD credential.
• Licensed or eligible to practice in Washington, DC.
• Minimum 2 years of nutrition counseling or clinical nutrition experience.
• Knowledge of evidence-based nutrition interventions and counseling.
• Strong written communication and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct nutrition screenings and assessments per program needs.
• Provide individualized nutrition counseling and education for recovery and nutrition.
• Collaborate with medical staff to support treatment planning and discharge planning.
• Document in the EMR per standards and timelines.
• Coordinate with meal services to ensure safe, appropriate meals.
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings (virtual or onsite).
