Job summary

Pomelo Care is expanding its network of Registered Dietitians to deliver virtual care for midlife and menopause transitions. You will set your own schedule and work within a multi-specialty care model to provide cohesive, evidence-based nutrition therapy.

This 1099 contractor role focuses on telehealth visits, collaboration with medical providers and therapists, and documentation via EMR, with onboarding support and flexible hours across the US.

Qualifications

• National certification as a Registered Dietitian (RD) or Registered Dietitian/Nutritionist (RDN) with a license to practice in any US state.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience providing evidence-based nutrition counseling.
• Ability to commit to a minimum of 10 patient-facing hours per week.
• Comfort using telehealth platforms, video conferencing, and electronic medical records (EMR).
• Strong clinical independence and collaborative mindset for multidisciplinary care.

Responsibilities

• Conduct synchronous video visits to provide one-on-one nutritional care for patients navigating midlife and menopausal transitions.
• Collaborate within a multi-specialty care team to ensure a cohesive care plan and improved patient outcomes.
• Partner with patients over a multi-week program format to facilitate sustainable lifestyle changes.
• Provide evidence-based nutrition therapy focusing on metabolic health, body composition, bone health, and gut health.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Uphold clinical, privacy, and compliance standards for visits conducted through the Pomelo platform.
