Job summary
Pomelo Care is expanding its network of Registered Dietitians to provide virtual nutrition care for midlife and menopausal transitions. You will conduct video visits, collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team, and guide patients through multi-week programs with evidence-based nutrition strategies.
The role is 1099 independent contractor with flexible scheduling, focus on quality care, and access to AI documentation tools to streamline charting.
Qualifications
- National RD or RDN certification with a license to practice in any US state.
- Minimum of 2 years of evidence-based nutrition counseling.
- Commit to at least 10 patient-facing hours per week.
- Comfort with telehealth platforms, video visits, and EMR.
- Strong clinical independence and collaborative approach to multidisciplinary care.
Responsibilities
- Synchronous video visits delivering one-on-one nutrition care.
- Collaborate with a multi-specialty care team to ensure cohesive care plans.
- Engage patients over a multi-week program to support lifestyle changes.
- Provide evidence-based nutrition therapy focusing on metabolic health, bone health, and gut health.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation.
- Uphold privacy and compliance standards for visits on the Pomelo platform.
