Job summary

Equitable is seeking a Regional Vice President (External Wholesaler) for Mutual Funds to develop and manage consultative relationships with National, Regional, and Insurance Broker Dealer advisors in the Western territory. This remote role includes up to 75% travel and periodic office visits as needed.

The base salary is $85,000 with eligible variable compensation and comprehensive benefits. Candidates should have FINRA licenses and deep knowledge of mutual funds.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional work experience.
• FINRA Series 6 and 63 registrations active upon hire.
• FINRA Series 7 active upon hire or ability to obtain within 180 days of start date.
• Success in a previous direct sales or wholesaler role.
• Knowledge of Mutual Funds and Investment products.

Responsibilities

• Educate and train advisors on Equitable Investment Management model portfolios and the 1290 Funds family of mutual funds.
• Assess and identify advisor client needs to promote new products.
• Develop new producers while retaining existing producers to grow market share.
• Develop new relationships and manage territory effectively.
• Utilize the internal sales desk to assist in territory management.
• Collaborate with the Internal Wholesaler and RVP; log activity and pipeline in Salesforce.
• Identify and implement investment sales opportunities to meet sales goals.
• Communicate with National Sales Manager on an ongoing basis.
• Manage budgets and timely expense reporting.
• Travel up to 75% of the time.
