Job summary

Equitable is seeking an experienced Regional Vice President – Mutual Funds for the Western territory (CA, OR, WA, NV, ID, MT, HI & AK). The role is remote with travel up to 75% and requires interaction with national and regional advisors to grow market share.

You will educate advisors on investment products, manage territory and budgets, and collaborate with internal wholesalers to achieve sales goals. Bachelor’s degree and FINRA licenses required; travel will be significant.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional work experience.
• FINRA Series 6 and 63 registrations active upon hire.
• FINRA Series 7 active upon hire or ability to obtain within 180 days of start date.
• Success in a previous direct sales or wholesaler role.
• Knowledge of Mutual Funds and Investment products.

Responsibilities

• Educate and train advisors on Equitable Investment Management model portfolios and the 1290 Funds family of mutual funds.
• Assess and identify the needs of advisor clients in order to promote new products.
• Develop new producers while retaining existing producers to grow market share.
• Develop new relationships and manage territory effectively.
• Utilize Salesforce (CRM) to log activity, maintain pipeline, and analyze opportunities.
• Work with and train Internal Wholesaler to collaborate with RVP and drive sales.
