Job summary

NOV is seeking a Regional Sales Manager for the Rockies region. The role drives sales objectives, coordinating with distributors, manufacturers, and the management team to execute project-specific strategies and ensure customer satisfaction across the region.

The incumbent will travel domestically, train distributors, and lead negotiations while tracking regional performance and market trends. A strong background in industrial sales and MS Office proficiency are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required or related work experience.
• 5–10 years of industrial sales management with oil & gas customers.
• Ability to work independently from a home office and manage time effectively.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for group presentations.

Responsibilities

• Meet regional sales objectives for the Rockies region.
• Initiate regional sales calls and training with distributors/representatives.
• Develop project-specific sales and profitability strategies.
• Instruct distributors and customers on product applications.
• Coordinate with management on cross-region project sales requirements.
• Visit customer facilities or jobsites to monitor progress and satisfaction.
• Identify new customers and opportunities and follow up on leads.
• Provide regional reports on target projects and distributor effectiveness.
