Job summary

Dell seeks a Regional Sales Manager (RSM) to oversee Field Sales Managers across a defined region, driving retailer advocacy and product sellout. You will hire, onboard, coach, and evaluate FSMs, partner with the National Manager, and ensure regional compliance including payroll and visits.

The role requires strong leadership, excellent communication, and the ability to travel regularly; remote-office setup and a focus on performance metrics are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree a plus.
• 3–5 years of prior management experience in retail, merchandising, training, and/or field marketing.
• Willingness to travel 30% of the year and work flexible hours.

Responsibilities

• Establishing and maintaining excellent relationships within the Region, clients, and retailers to understand and exceed mutual goals.
• Coaching and providing performance feedback for new and tenured employees; including training, scheduling and execution of visits, and reporting.
• Using storytelling to support client and internal partners with monthly presentations via PowerPoint to recap team performance.
• Managing, motivating, and coordinating FSM activities to meet or exceed sales and project goals.
• Ensuring proper FSM training of sales techniques, products, policies, etc.
• Overseeing a quarterly contest budget for the region and executing contests with prize qualifications.
• Assisting in launch-related activities as needed.
• Serving as the main point of contact for FSMs within the region.
