Job summary

Ameritas Life Insurance Corp is seeking a Regional Manager for Group sales to drive profitable and persistent sales results for Group Dental, Eye Care insurance, and ASO contracts across the region. The role targets at least 15% annual growth in in-force lives and requires leadership of staff to achieve growth objectives.

The position is remote within MD, PA, DE or DC, with no regular in-office presence, and involves planning, budgeting, and mentoring to boost persistency and profitability

Qualifications

• Requires a College Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• Needs 5+ years of proven sales experience and industry knowledge.
• Strong sales leadership, creativity, and problem solving are essential.
• Excellent communication skills are required.
• Business acumen including budgets and expense management is expected.
• Industry designations are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Build Sales Plan with activity to meet the assigned goals.
• Build actionable persistency plan and manage results with sales support, Underwriting, National Accounts and other areas of influence.
• Build plans to improve profit of state aggregate block.
• Build mentoring plan for staff to leverage investment in associates to build customer loyalty.
• Review top-line and bottom-line results quarterly and develop action plans to improve results in sales, persistency, profit, UW results, and mentoring.
• Act as liaison between the field and the Home Office, engaging at all levels to meet goals.
• Develop and maintain relations with local civic and professional organizations.
