Job summary

UNLV is seeking a Regional Recruiter for undergraduate recruitment, focused on Florida and remote work based in Florida. The role involves outreach, planning recruitment programs, advising prospective students, and partnering with Admissions, Financial Aid, and external partners.

The position requires a bachelor’s degree and 1–3 years in customer-facing roles, plus a valid driver’s license. Travel and events are a core part of the job, with tuition discounts and comprehensive benefits outlined.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
• 1–3 years of related professional experience (customer‑service or public‑facing).
• Equivalent experience: four additional years of relevant experience in place of a bachelor’s, or an associate’s degree plus two years of experience.
• Valid driver’s license with reliable vehicle and insurance.

Responsibilities

• Travel within assigned regions and to additional out‑of‑state markets as needed.
• Visit high‑school campuses, community colleges, and affiliated events.
• Plan, arrange, and implement a personal recruitment schedule.
• Provide advisement to students and families regarding educational opportunities.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate recruitment programs, projects, and events.
• Analyze recruitment and retention trends.
• Deliver presentations at parent nights, community college engagement, and public audiences.
• Create and distribute promotional materials targeted to recruitment populations.
• Review individual application materials and evaluate admission eligibility.
• Resolve application‑related issues and coordinate communications with applicants.
• Maintain accurate records of recruiting activities and contacts.
• Assist with additional student‑service projects and events as requested.
• Work to achieve yearly recruiting goals.
