Qualifications

• Three years in the biotech/pharmaceutical or healthcare environment.
• Three years clinical and/or research in Cardiovascular & Pulmonary therapeutic areas and demonstrated scientific excellence, or five years Medical Scientific Liaison experience.
• Principled interpersonal, communication, networking, and presentation skills.
• Deep therapeutic competency and knowledge of evolving trends in Cardiovascular & Pulmonary/translational science.
• Network and partner with external customers including scientific leaders and investigators.

Responsibilities

• Work Independently and as a Team member with Integrity, precision, accomplishment, motivational ambition, respect, inclusion.
• Identify, establish and manage relationships with scientific leaders and investigators to address scientific needs and access to information.
• Conduct peer-level scientific discussions and maintain a presence to ensure SLs have a Medical Affairs contact.
• Engage in non-product discussions to inform strategies and guide research programs.
• Facilitate scientific exchange of information and integrate knowledge with insights to inform strategy.
• Communicate stakeholder opinions and feedback to Medical Affairs HQ teams.
• Represent R&D at scientific meetings and debriefs, and contribute to post-congress reports.
• Support data generation activities including ISP and investigator-initiated studies.
• Identify potential investigators for phase II-IV programs and provide scientific support for sponsored trials.
• Provide in-depth scientific support to Health Systems Teams.
• Maintain knowledge of the disease area through conferences and literature.
• Comply with company policies, laws, and ethical standards.
• Contribute to an environment of belonging and empowerment.
• Adhere to SOPs, GCP guidelines, and administrative responsibilities.
