Job summary

Merck is seeking a Regional Medical Scientific Director for Cardiopulmonary & Pulmonary Hypertension. The role requires an MD/PhD/PharmD/APP with strong science exchange skills to engage external leaders and support data generation activities.

Based in the Southwest US region with territory defined by business needs; travel up to 50%. Remote work allowed with responsibilities spanning scientific leadership, investigator collaboration, and strategic medical affairs initiatives.

Qualifications

• Three years in biotech/pharma or healthcare.
• Three years in Cardiovascular & Pulmonary areas or five years as MSL in relevant TA.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Build collaborations with national, regional and clinical leaders.
• Provide scientific information and data to SLs and investigators.
• Support external data generation activities and ISP coordination.
• Represent GMSA at meetings and contribute to post-congress summaries.
