Job summary

Church Mutual Insurance Company seeks a dynamic sales professional to prospect and sell new insurance accounts, leveraging an existing book and generating new business. This remote role includes base pay, commissions, profit sharing, and a company car program.

You will travel for on-site prospects and training, maintain sales databases, and hit defined goals with strong relationship-building and negotiation skills. A Bachelor's degree and P&C license are preferred or required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and industry experience preferred.
• P&C license required.
• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to work independently toward performance standards.
• Strong written and verbal presentation and listening skills.
• Demonstrated skills in relationship building, negotiation, and communication.
• Ability to understand, interpret, and explain various insurance policies.
• Remote work with travel and overnight stays required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a documented plan to prospect and sell new insurance accounts that meet assigned goals and corporate objectives.
• Conduct the required amount of prospecting activities by meeting or exceeding established goals.
• Conduct on-site visits to prospects to inspect, evaluate, and document exposures and present sales pitches; offer risk management advice.
• Complete and maintain databases for all sales activities and provide written reports to management.
• Attend training seminars, meetings, and conventions as required, including trips to the Home Office for training.
