Job summary

Walgreens is seeking an HR leader to partner with the Director, Field HR in delivering regional HR policies, services, and solutions. You will oversee talent management, acquisition, employee and labor relations, pay administration, succession planning, and training initiatives across the Upper New York / New England region.

This role leads a team of HR professionals, collaborates with COEs, educates managers on HR initiatives, and drives programs to improve engagement, inclusion, and compliance

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree with 4+ years HR experience or 7+ years in HR if no degree.
• Experience diagnosing complex issues and implementing solutions.
• Experience ensuring compliance with standards, laws and regulations.
• Experience delivering presentations to diverse audience levels.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Excel/PowerPoint/Word).

Responsibilities

• Translate HR strategy into regional talent programs and processes.
• Develop and deliver talent management, recruitment, and performance programs.
• Coach leaders to achieve business goals using Walgreens tools and models.
• Oversee HR processes for the region and manage employee relations escalations.
• Educate managers on HR initiatives, processes and strategy; support program delivery.
• Roll out HQ/COE HR programs with training and communications.
• Collaborate with COEs on HR initiatives and implementation.
